Growing up in Indonesia, I recognized that the rich become richer and the poor stay poor. The opportunity gap is wide and the overlooked population has no other option but to accept the broken system—unequal access to education, sanitation, healthcare, nutritious food, and job security. I know, that there needs to be a change.
I made a big decision: to study in the States and bring my knowledge home. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from UCLA and completed a Project Management Certification. For the past 5 years, I’ve exposed myself to the social impact sector from sustainable fashion, education, agriculture, to community empowerment.
My most recent job was with Mindset & Milestones, an education startup that provides an entrepreneurship curriculum to K-5 through K-12 students. As a Communication and Operations Associate, I sharpened my skills in administrative, project management, business operations, program development, and strategic communications. My impact journey won’t stop here, rather, this is just the beginning.
